Day in the Park
Annual Children's Day in the Park is held in May at the Atascadero Lake Park.
Ride on the Elk's Train, play carnival games, win big prizes, check out local
businesses
and organizations that provide services for children and families, and most importantly...HAVE
FUN! The net proceeds for this year's event will be donated towards
the Atascadero New Recreation Center's programs and equipment. To have a vendor

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Winter
Wonderland is presented on the first Friday of December
and features a tremendous line-up of entertainment
and holiday activities in the Sunken Gardens. Local
musicians and choral groups entertain, gift opportunities
abound as crafter's display their wares, and hungry
visitors enjoy everything from cotton candy to barbecue.
The evening begins around 6 p.m. with Christmas carols
led by the Atascadero Community Band. Santa Claus arrives
to greet the children all during the event. Surrounding
everything are multiple snow piles and sled runs to
provide that Currier & Ives "winter wonderland" ambiance.
The entire event runs from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Please call
