Winter Wonderland and Street Faire
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Winter Wonderland is presented on the first Friday of December and features a tremendous line-up of entertainment and holiday activities in the Sunken Gardens. Local musicians and choral groups entertain, gift opportunities abound as crafter's display their wares, and hungry visitors enjoy everything from cotton candy to barbecue. The evening begins around 6 p.m. with Christmas carols led by the Atascadero Community Band. Santa Claus arrives to greet the children all during the event. Surrounding everything are multiple snow piles and sled runs to provide that Currier & Ives "winter wonderland" ambiance. Holiday Magic At The Zoo
