Lion King Day!

Everyone is invited to celebrate Lion King Day at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero on Saturday, August 31st from 10 am until 2 p.m. 

On Lion King Day, the first 80 children that enter the Zoo will get an official Lion King Activity Booklet! In addition, various education animals will be out and about with their zoo handlers; visitors will get to see baby flamingo feeding at 1:30 p.m., plus several Keeper Talks will be held throughout the day to showcase a few of the animals featured in the Lion King movie!

 

Keeper Talks: 10:30 a.m. – Meerkats! 11:30 a.m. Hornbills!

12:30 p.m. – Bat Eared Foxes!

 

To celebrate Lion King Day, the Keeper Talks, visitor opportunities to see education animals up close, and the baby flamingo feeding are all included with the price of general admission!
